Visit of the Minister of Social Rights to La Sínia: A Reference Social Project in Calafell

This week, the management of Certis, together with the architecture office Batllori&Trepat Arquitectes SLP, had the pleasure of accompanying the Minister of Social Rights, the Illustrious. Sr. Carles Campuzano, during his visit to the La Sínia project, which includes the work on the new residence for the elderly and disabled in Calafell. This visit was also attended by the coordinator of the territorial services of the Department of Social Rights in Penedès, Mrs. Lluïsa Nicolau Galindo, the mayor of Calafell, His Excellency Mr. Ramon Ferré, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Social Rights, Calafell City Council and the Santa Teresa Foundation.

La Sínia is a social project that includes day center services, training centers and a special work center, among others, and is now being expanded with the construction of a residential complex for the elderly and people with functional diversity. This project, which is currently in its second phase of construction and is expected to be completed in 2025, defines the characteristics of an innovative residence designed specifically for the well-being and personalized attention of 120 residents. As always, we start the work by meeting the design requirements of the proposed building, looking for maximum efficiency in the construction process.

During the visit, the architect Marc Trepat Carbonell, presented an extensive summary of the characteristics of the works and a video of a 3D recreation of the project was projected. Next, the councilor expressed a very positive assessment of the project developed by the Santa Teresa Foundation in Calafell, highlighting it as a “very good example of the new residential models we need”.

From Certis we are very grateful to the Santa Teresa Foundation for the trust placed in our company.
